Is the CA Mesa a 700 clone?

yes, for the most part. Had to do a little dremel work for the side bolt release on one stock I have (AG composites) but everything else was no problem.

Specifically I am thinking about buying a CA Mesa and I am looking for a youth length stock for it.

I dont know anything about the bottom metal differences on a 700.

Any other youth stocks I could drop a Mesa in?

The bottom metal is the same as any remington 700 BDL. So anything for a BDL will work but some may need to dremel a notch for the side bolt release if it hits.

That would work, as would any youth model for rem clone. Bottom metal on the Mesa will work but might need some minor trimming, might not. I did with my ridgeline.

I have zero experience, just saying any for a rem 700/clone will work. Maybe some companies out there that don’t specifically make youth stocks but can customize the LOP?
