Is a 6.5 PRC enough? Do I need a 7mm?

I have killed or been present for 4 bulls shot with 6.5 Creedmore from 250-500yds and all died within 20yds.

My wife killed a bull at 500 this year with a 6.5 PRC. Dropped where he stood.

Every one with 143 ELDX and every one exited the animal. I don’t understand what you are getting with more recoil and bigger cartridges.

Before I got into 6.5s, I used .308 and never had a problem. Animals don’t go far with holes in their lungs.
