Currently running Leica Geovid 10x42 R bino’s with the Magview for my phone. It is an absolute pain to get the phone to not only focus through the glass but to even put it on the binos and hold the proper position. Looking for some solutions or other options to run in order to remedy my frustration.

Any and all advice is appreciated

I have a 14 pro max and use an Olin adapter on my spotter and have been very pleased it. Cast improvement over my old phone scope. Haven’t tried to use anything on my binos but I believe they make a bino adapter. Might be worth looking into. Good luck!

Do you use the MagView app when lining your phone up to your binos?
It’s really hard to line them up with your phone camera, but the app has crosshairs to make it easy.

I use the Ollin with my 15 max pro. Simple and fast. Only issue is that you cannot exceed a certain magnification with the phone or I think the phone tries to use one of the lenses that is covered by the adapter and the screen blacks out.

Ollin snaps on. Simple enough kid could do it.

The other company options out there require slight adjustments that aren’t simple enough to do in a few quick seconds. And aren’t always the same adjustments.

Ollin takes the “thinking” out of it (adapter is on the optic + the phone camera snaps on and is directed into place with magnets syncing)

What camera app are you using? You can't use the apple app. I use one named Moment that works perfectly. You have to be able to manually select the right lens rather than letting the phone auto-select.

Downloaded the MagView and phonescope apps. The apps help tremendously with the camera not switching, but the way I have to place my phone on the MagSafe is a pain.

Looked into the Ollin like y’all use but they do not have one for the Leica Geovid 10/42R
