no recommendations on outfitters, you draw? what area?

resident of iowa. my advice, NE or SE IA. pick what looks like rough terrain, thatll put you deeper than the locals. go in early, stay past dusk, will help you snag a pattern.

white tail arent exactly a difficult animal to hunt here in iowa. though ive only ever done shotgun/late seasons when they are already skiddish and weather plays a role. bow hunting here from my perspective is fair weather and good odds sense that season coincides with one thing on their mind

You can probably grab a lease for the whole bow season for less then some of the better Iowa outfitters…. I know I did.
