Insulation for stand hunting. Bibs or pants

I wear Santuary Bibs and Jacket for sits in WI, I just drop layers for earlier in the season. Wear as many layers as posible for later season sits. I get cold easy but these are really warm.
Used to have a cheapo onesie that I wore over everything I had on really cold days years ago. That would be a great addition to a cold season kit, save some money and have a universal cold sit option.
Never bit the bullet on a heated vest, but that would be a smart investment too imo

For really cold sits, especially if there is a chance I will sit all day, my outer layer is Sitka Incinerator jacket and Fanatic bibs. I will spare you detail on all of the layers I wear underneath, as I may be much colder blooded than you - but think high quality/heavy weight (g/m^2) merino and puffy layers.
