Im looking for an insulated boot. Currently I'm wearing Lowa Ranger and Lowa Renegade boots in a 14 wide. Im having troubles finding a good wide insulated boot. Anybody have suggestions?
Thanks!

Kenetrek mountain extremes come in wide and they are the widest toe box Ive found dont know if they go to 14 though

They don't make a 14 in the wide. They make a 8-13 wide. Might be worth a try though to see if I can make the 13 work.

The Meindl Dovre Extreme GTX are the widest on the market but not heavily insulated...that said, with 2 pairs of Darn Tough medium weight hikers they are very VERY warm. These are serious mountain boots for steep, rocky country. Available in low and high top.

Where do you buy them?

I ordered my boots through AJ Brooks in Canada. I gotta really wide foot, nothing else came close to fitting. Even Lanthrop & Sons said they couldn't help me. I got duck feet. 9.5EEE

Looks like you like Lowas. Have you tried the hunter GTX? I have a pair and love them. They're kinda heavy; but, for cold weather they're great.

I called Lanthrop and Sons and they suggested the hunter gtx evo extreme which I belive is the same boot you mentioned. I didn't consider it because its not listed as a wide but they said its built a little wider than most boots so Im going to give them a try and see if they are wide enough. Appreciate the suggestions!

Try the Lowa Bighorn Hunter GTX they are built on a wider last than most of their other boots though they arent labeled as a "wide" size, they are wider and are made up to size 14.

Danner makes wide. Only up to EE. I can make their 13 EE work with a little break in although I am a full 13 EEE if not wider. I own a few different boots from them and they vary in width by model a bit so make sure you try the fit. I have a set of Acadias I love and a set of newer rivot TFX 400 gram boots that I am breaking in and quickly falling in love with as well. They are more of an athletic construction vs old school Norwegian welts so I don't think they will last 5+ years like the old stuff but they are comfy out of the box and finding their way to my feet more and more often.

I have fairly wide feet myself, just got a pair of Lowa Tibet gtx hi's, fit amazing for my wide feet. Plus I ordered from Campsaver.com and got them at just over 280 si almost 100 dollars off

I don't need a 14; I'm a 12 but need a 4E at a minimum, but really more comfortable in a 6E. I currently have some stretched out Bates 3Es and New Balance 1569 in 6E. Would love to know if any of the recommendations here would actually be wide enough for me. I had foot surgery about 2 years ago, so I would love to find some great fitting mountain boots.

Our Insulated Beartooth boot comes in a 14 Wide.

I also have a wide foot and tried the schnees beartooth and it looked like an awesome boot that would have been really comfortable but they didnt fit, even in a wide were still too narrow. I run lowas in a wide and they fit true to size. I wish the beartooths would have fit because they looked and felt like an awesome boot just still too narrow.
