where do you buy your boots

where do you guys find the best boot prices. Im looking for a good pair of hiking boots for my son that doesnt break the bank. Leaning towards lowa or hanwag but open to ideas. I found some screaming deals on lowa but think its a scam site.

Check Sierra trading post. They're blowing out Lowas right now.

I don't even need another pair but I might order one. The Tibet highs are great boots.

^^^ this. I’ve bought several pairs for a fast growing teen from Sierra and they have many name brand boots for low prices.

I looked at sierra but nothing in 13s Im interested in. I missed the midway kennetrek sale for 13s. I have found some on midway and hanwag sites that are pretty good.
Also, Im looking for a hiking/every day boot. Any suggestions. For example I love my assolo sassalongs for hunting out west but they are way to stiff for where I live here. The sole doesnt bend.
I obviously only wear hunting boots so no experience in hiking boots for daily where and no where to go try a bunch on

For a growing teen boy like I have as well it’s best to get a decent boot but not high end. I buy my son Hitech waterproof boots. Usually under $100.00. Keen is also a decent boot. My son went from a size 7 to a 9 1/2 in about 3 months! Then to a 10 1/2 in 2 more months. As far as I know he has slowed down a bit. He has been going through shoes like crazy! Turning 14 this fall and will be taller than me soon which is a huge ego booster for him. I keep telling him that’s not much of an accomplishment since I’m only 5’8”.
