Look like a great option for some tree stand pants easy to throw on once you get to the stand. Since the Kuiu 210s didn't fit I may have to give these a try. A little big, but hopefully there is some sort of waist adjustment. I'll wait for a STP coupon that works on them though since all of the ones I have expired yesterday; paying full price at STP is insane.
I just ordered some Kuiu down pants to try, so maybe a little late though. However they still haven't shipped from my order on the 19th.
If the fabric is waterproof and you ware layering over it, I think that would cause some uncomfortable condensation for me... I could be wrong though, cool concept as I typically don't need as much insulation on my lower legs.
I got a pair of these Czech army cold weather pant liners and love them: http://www.fleetfarm.com/detail/-czech-army-pant-liner/0000000046808
They are full length, 13.8oz, toasty warm, have a somewhat slim fit that works under most outerwear and at $7(!) you could get 13 of them for the price of those capri pant.
I've been looking for a couple years for the perfect lightweight treestand pant in the $100 range to wear between a light pant for walking in and rainshell. Haven't found anything better than my wool pants but those suckers are heavy to carry. Not sure that's it but the 3/4 design is interesting.
