Kryptek Aegis are the warmest there are but heavy.

I walk a long ways so have opted to leave those at home and just pack in an oversized pair of UA Down Pants. Once i settle in i just zip those on over what im wearing then zip em off and back in the pack for the walk out. Its the way to go they weigh nothing.

I also like the Skre Guardian bibs. Down-filled, extremely warm and windproof.

Go on a skiing forum and see what they are wearing. Buy whatever you choose in black. They deal with more wind, wet and snow than a lot of hunters, especially me in Alabama. They will also know what is lightweight, warm, breathable and dries quickly, all the must haves.

2nd option, do you like what you currently have? Take it to a seamstress, let her make you some longer zippered legs and a zippered fly. I did that 34 years ago when they first came out with mossy oak bottomland, I did it for a pair of lightweight turkey hunting coveralls, they still fit, the zippers still work great. The legs didn't even have any zippers in them.

I'm running old cabelas silent suede stuff from before the buyout by BP. They are warm enough for me when I break them out in low 20 something and teens in Alabama. So it isn't often. I like my wool pants mostly.

Have you thought of comfortable thicker wool pants from surplus than I am hauling in those?
