I’m considering both options and wanted some opinions on durability against thing like snags and poking branches in the southwest. The new instinct line has a bonded grid fleece on the surface for silence/durability and no lining between the wearer and goretex-like rain barrier. The older mt050 rain gear has a woven fabric with a sanded nap for silence boned to the surface and a thin polyester fabric lining sewn in between the wearer and goretex-like barrier.
