Instinct 2x vs Instinct 3

Looking for some real talk on this.

I have an Instinct 2. I busted the screen cramming my meat hooks into a tight space at work. It still works but the battery is failing and Santy Claws is coming and wifey told me to put one on the Amazon list.

It's not a nav tool for me, it's mostly a fitness tool.

I've read some reviews that steer me away from the 3 with HR sensor issues

I've had an Instinct 3 Solar for about 7 months now. No complaints here.

I have the 2 also. I believe the screen is supposed to be nicer on the 3. What is the issue with the HR sensor? I don’t fully trust my current one as it is but it give a frame of reference I suppose.

I’ve been debating on upgrading as well. In for the real talk.

So, being a wrench slinger, I don't know exactly what the issue is.

I browsed a couple articles this morning and that nugget stuck out. As I am reading a bit more carefully and clearly, I don't actually think there is a difference and that I actually trusted an AI summary (Shame on me) rather than reading and verifying specs.

I'll cut you a deal on a lightly used instinct 2 solar tactical if you want another 2. I basically never wear it.

If you have health insurance look into fitness watch discounts. A lot of insurers provide discounts through Garmin, etc

That said, I have an Instinct 3 solar 45mm. Love it. Battery has gone 45 days between charging. Came from a 1 though, never had a 2.
