Inspire Sleep Apnea Implant and Shooting?

Has anyone had the Inspire sleep apnea implant surgery? I am scheduled for surgery but am concerned about being able to shoot heavy recoiling rifles comfortably as the implant is typically placed high in the right chest/shoulder area (I shoot right handed) and I am concerned with contact with the butt of the gun. I am going to talk with the surgeons office Monday about this but am just wondering if anyone has any background here?

Thank You!

I am in the same situation. Did you go through with the implant, and if so, are you still able to shoot a rifle?

Thanks!

Checking in to see how this went or if anyone else has had the surgery?
I am scheduled for next month. My doctor said he would place it in left side since I am a righty.

Interested in this too. I hate wearing a cpap and would love to get the inspire. Would love to hear from those who've done the procedure!

I have been fighting with cpap for about 2 years now and I just don't get along with it. They call it intolerance.
I'm both excited and hesitant about about getting it but once it's all done I think it will be worthwhile.
