I’ve heard really good things about the Sole insoles that aren’t the cork ones
I have cork ones in two pairs of shoes, they’re great.

I’ve read that they are more prone to falling apart if you are inserting and removing them frequently (compared to the plastic ones that don’t fall apart). I’ve removed mine maybe twice to clean the shoes. No problems yet. I did use the plastic shell ones in my hiking and muck boots though.

i should have clarified… I’ve heard the cork ones aren’t nearly as durable, especially in boots that see a lot of moisture. Most reviews on their comfort and performance are really positive

They do take awhile to break in. And also for your feet to get used to the change. Don’t give up on them just yet.

I get my insoles made from the podiatrist. But was thinking on getting a pair of sheep feet too. Following to see other experiences on this thread

I normally wear Brooks and Hoka shoes. I have taken the insole out of a Brooks Beast and used it in my hunting boots.

I have had zero luck with custom orthotics. Even when fit by a podiatrist.
