Input on Kifaru Bane?

Does anyone have experience with the Kifaru Bane? I'm looking for something to use when I go on a stalk. I often find myself dropping my pack and then end up sitting on a buck or bull for several hours wishing I had some water and maybe a few other things. It seems like it would work well for this. I was mainly curious on how well it rides on your back with just the small shoulder straps. I recently brought an old Badlands pack along for this reason, I'm not sure of the model but it actually had bungee type straps for the shoulder straps and I found that it moved around on my back so much that the noise it made kind of defeated the purpose. If anyone has any experience with the Bane and can provide some input I'd appreciate it!

I bought a bane for the same reason you are describing. It works, but the one inch shoulder straps are not my favorite. They work, just don’t feel quite right for me. With that said, I do like the pack. I bought some X-ray straps for it and have attached them without removing the original straps. I haven’t had a chance to use it much since the modification, but they seem to work.
