I just wanted to pass along a great set of pullouts that I got. Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Cube Set. These little bags weigh nothing and I got the set for $15 bucks on Steep and Cheap (they come up every once in a while). You can find them elsewhere on the web for $35 or $40. I have some Kifaru pullouts that are obviously great quality and these are right up there.

I have the set and I agree w the op except that the kifaru ku material seems a little stronger than the material on the specter cube set. However when you have immediate delivery and a lower price then the specter works good enough for me. (An inexpensive pullout could turn very expensive if you don't)

The eagle creek or Kifaru pullouts aren't waterpeoof by any means. Nothing like wet gear that can then rust or corride. I keep all my gear in three different sil nylon dry bags, sleep system, food, clothes. Then the other mic stuff that would normally go in pullouts I use 1 gallon zip lock bags. Waterproof and much lighter than a pullout.

I started doing some research and found these here. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EQUINOX-ULT...A%2BFICS%2BUFI&otn=21&pmod=161039729326&ps=54

Really like the look and sizes of those =-)

"Made From 1.1 Ounce Silicone Impregnated Ripstop Nylon With No-See-Um Mesh" Doesn't sound like a very effective pull-out if it is already impregnated :)

Seriously though, I am trying to figure out what it means by nylon with mesh. The photo doesn't show mesh that I can see and that would really negate the silnylon. Perhaps on the inside?

I ordered a set I will let you know when I get them. Worth checking out for 9 bucks

it is defiantly less expensive to pull out..wait what are we talking about?

Hey SHTF, I don't think you're getting a set for $9. When I read the info/description on the ebay posting, it says "assorted colors, you'll either receive red, green, or blue", unless I'm reading over it, nothing I see says anything about a set of 3. I hope I'm wrong, but I think you're only getting one pouch.

You are correct. I took a chance and picked one up. I only got one bag. Can't say that it is worth the $10 but it isn't bad. It will make a nice little possibles pouch or UL first aid kit. While it adds a little weight, I do like the little clip as you can run the zipper loop into the clip to keep the zipper closed and then hang it in the top of your pack for easy access or from the outside of the pack when you want or need.
