In the market for a new sleeping pad

What's your favorite sleeping pad, or what would you recommend? Likely to be used by itself without a cot and in temps no lower than 15 at worst, likely around the 25-35 mark.

Thermarest NeoAir XLite, 12 oz version is my favorite for weight and comfort. Slightly better comfort and lighter than my Xped Synmat 7 that weighs 16 oz in my opinion. I also had a Big Agnes pad that was a complete dud.....a section of it starting leaking (air) like a sieve on a 14 day backpack hunt. REI took it back as it was flawed, but I don't trust BA quality control.

The new sea to summit pads are amazing. I spent 4 hours in rei a few weeks ago trying out EVERY pad they had. No question the seas to summit was most comfortable. I also loved the valve design as it inflates and deflates almost instantly. I also liked the dual air chambers both for adjustable comfort and in case one side is punctured you aren't laying on the ground.

If I'm willing to carry a few extra ounces anywhere it's for a sweet sleeping pad.

YES! haha I've been recommending these on here since last year and no one bats an eye. Finally someone else recommending them They're seriously fantastic. I've tried every popular pad out there and this is hands down the best IMO (and my wife's opinion). I've got the comfort light and comfort plus. Logged in over 30 nights last year.

super comfortable and quiet. I cant stand loud crinkly pads.

Some mats like thermarest neo and xlite have a crinkly sound. The older versions where very crunchy. I use exped synmat ul 7 and down mat ul7 and like the warmth to weight ratio. Plus my tent partners don't complain about noise.

Yeah there is a crinkly sound but I've never noticed it when sleeping.

Anybody checked out the mundo king, or whatever its called? Now that's a proper bed.

I like the looks of that sea to summit, but the thermarest sure seems to be well spoken of.

Is there a specific sea summit you all recommend for cold cold nights?

I got the Comfort plus specifically for late season here in Colorado, I've used it last year into November. R rating is 5. There are a lot of reviews out there of folks using the Comfort Light even down to 0 degrees and on snow.

Just picked one up or an amazing deal on Campsaver; $122 for the LW, just need a pump bag now. I'll probably still take my Nemo Air in warm weather, but looking forward to trying the Exped.

Just saw a Nemo Tensor at REI that is packed tiny and looks nice...might give that one a try myself
