In the market for a .300 WM

Looking to purchase a .300 WM for hunting here in Montana. Curious as what people are using?

I own a Tikka .308 T3X super lite stainless steel that I really like. However, I can’t seem to find the .300 version. Did they discontinue it?

I have a Bergara in .300WM, and a Tikka T3 in .308, action is nicer on the Tikka and it's lighter but the Bergara feels sturdier. 70° bolt throw on Tikka is nicer.

A buddy of mine has a T3x Hunter 300WM SS that lives in my safe and our store manager owns a bergara 300WM B14 HMR. Both a nicely accurate. The Bergara HMR is heavy though, not something you want to carry up mountains. Haven't heard any complaints from customers who bought any of the other Bergara models though, likewise with any of the Tikkas.

I do see the Tikka 300 WM SuperLite blued with ODG stock available and in stock (JRTXGSL31R10). And while Tikka lists the SS super lite on their website (JRAXSL31R10) I dont find it at any of our distributors. I own both blued and stainless Tikkas and find cleaning the barrels on the stainless version to be way easier than the blued barrels. Accuracy is the same though. Not sure I'd want a super lite 300WM though. Recoil could be annoying.

Looks like the Bergara Premier Mountain 2.0 is considerably lighter.. Anyone own one?​
