Imr 7828 bs 7828 ssc

my 300 wby shoots a 180 accubond real good with 7828. Have access to 7828 ssc. Would I have to work up a new load or could I use the same recipe?

Quickload has the same specs for both just like H4831 and H4831SC. Should just be cut shorter for easier filling of cases.

I used the same load data and could tell no difference.

I worked up a load for my 280 with 7828, switched to ssc when I ran out, didn't see any difference with the same charges. SSC definately has better flow characteristics.

The two have the same burn rate, but different densities. 7828 takes more volume for the same weight of powder. You could have trouble if you had a favorite max load of 7828SSC and tried to substitute 7828. The increased powder volume could cause excessive pressure.
