Good evening. I hadn't bought powder in a long time, and was surprised to find there ain't none. Then, when I was researching loads for some new .243 bullets, I learned that my IMR 4007SSC was recalled. I have 3/4 lb. So, I hoped IMR would send me some 4451 for my 280AI, which is my main concern. Need to get set up for October elk to 500 yrds. But doggone they sent me a release form to sign in exchange for $35.00. No powder. Didn't even offer to sell me any. Boy, am I frustrated. Even if we could find powder, it ain't going to be $35/lb.
I'm wondering if any of y'all had any luck negotiating for more $

Long story short no.
They are not making any more money than normal now. There not getting gun broker prices. High volume is all they got. But they are only getting there normal wholesale price.
And your order is considered a new order. And since the stuff you do see pop up on shelves was order a tear or 2 ago buy that store if they did put you in line you would be a year or 2 out.

Ether use what ya got or take the 35 and put that as a down payment on gunbroker.
