I’m your Huckleberry

I think the true saying in the 1800’s was huckleberry.

This is correct. There was a somewhat popular phrase, “I’m your huckleberry” to mean “I’m the one you desire/want” or similar.

“Hucklebearer” = pallbearer was also a commonly used term, but, in this case, “huckleberry” was indeed the intended term and its use is not historically inaccurate as some have claimed over the years.

Tombstone is one of my favorite movies and Doc was by far my favorite character. The scene below makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up every time I see it. RIP Val.

  • Johnny Ringo: Fight's not with you, Holliday.
  • Doc Holliday: I'll beg to differ, sir. We started a game we never got to finish. Play for blood, remember?
  • Johnny Ringo: I was just foolin' about.
  • Doc Holliday: I wasn't. And this time...
  • [opens his coat to reveal a U.S. Deputy Marshal Badge]
  • Doc Holliday: ... it's legal.

Alright lunger, let’s do it!

Yes, a quick Google search will tell you that.

Both would actually be correct...

Tombstone is an all-time great and mostly because of his portrayal of Doc Holiday. Ghost and the Darkness & Heat are two other excellent movies. If you really want to see Val Kilmer's range watch "the Saint". His ability to BECOME the character was next level. Whoever said they never saw him acting nailed it!

I'll miss him.

If you haven’t seen it check him out in Top Secret. A very funny WWII spy spoof. He can dance, he can sing, he can act…he’s a badass. Spoiler alert, there’s a girl in a white sweater whose boobs glow when she’s near him.😂🤣😂

If you liked him in Top Secret, you'll love him in Real Genius.

Forget Doc Holiday, RIP Chris Knight.

Family favorite and most quoted movie with my Dad and uncles...crazy that my youngest son (just turned 14) had been watching Tombstone almost daily for the last couple weeks (so I did several times as well)...I text him when I saw the news and my son just responded "Bruh"...Doc was his favorite as well.
