Howdy everybody. I am an Idaho Falls, ID resident, born and raised. First and foremost, Robby Denning turned me on to this website and the forum. I'll try to keep it short. I've been an avid hunter and sportsman my whole life. I wouldn't say I know Robby on an extremely personal level, but I know him well enough over the years to vouch for his heart of gold, dedication to selflessly helping others in life in all that they do and being a top tier role model to all. i came here to support him and all those I interact with. Harvesting any kind of animal, to me personally, is only 10% of the fun. It is the camaraderie, bonds developed and life experiences that truly make this all worth it. Over the years I've hunted heavily in waterfowl, upland game, big game, predators, small game and have trapped for about 5 years also. However, I've always been that guy to fill my freezer and put meat on the table. I have been blessed and lucky enough to always draw on doe deer tags and cow elk tags almost every single year of my life. Yeah, I've taken a few buck muleys, but they weren't the monsters that Robby and many of my fellow hunter friends have taken. I've never taken a bull elk. For once in my life, I also want to give up my pursuit of hunting the way I have been and focus on the buck deer and bull elk of a life time. The only area I'm really new too is archery. I just started archery 3 years ago. One of my good friends teasingly harassed me a few years ago and said, "You know Dennis, you think you're such a big bad hunter having done this and done that, why dont you take up archery and/or really start chasing the kings of the mountains"? Honestly, he had a valid point. Being humble in the sport of hunting is what makes you successful and that is really all I'm trying to do. I came here hoping to share stories, experiences, gain knowledge and then give knowledge back when others need it. Happy hunting everybody!
