Picked up a seekins element in 6.5cm and put an swfa 3-9× on it in seekins rings. Weighs 7#2oz with a 3 rnd mag in it.
So I loaded up 40-42.5gr of h4350 and shot them for pressure. 42.5 had some primer flattening starting. Loaded up 20rnds at 42gr and went to shoot.
Shot 3 on paper and they were .3mils left and 2.5mils high. Came down 2.5 mils and shot a 10 round group that was probably ~3/4" or so. Didn't measure it, looking at it was good enough for me to be happy with it.
Elevation was good. I dialed it .3mils right and shot 1 and it was centered. That little barrel was hot after 11 rounds though.
I figured I'd be real close to 2700fps with that charge. Put 2700 in jbm and went to 605yds and it put 3 shots into ~4", elevation was spot on.
Load work for this rifle was rounds 1-6 for pressure.
Rounds 7,8 and 9 got me on paper at 100
Made my elevation adjustment and shot rounds 10-19into a 10 shot group.
Made my windage adjustment and shot round 20 and it was centered to poa.
Shot rounds 21, 22 and 23 on steel at 605 and this rifle is done with load workup.
I've got 15# of h4350 and 1476 147elds left so this rifle is set for awhile
