If your gonna be dumb you gotta be tough, Rokslide admin version

Hey at least the point and barb are already exposed. Grabbing that hook with the pliers and forcing it on through is way worse than pulling it back out after you snipped the barb off.
I prescribe you to dip it in peroxide and drink 2 cold beers, you’ll be good as new in no time.

When I was about 9 years old a friend and I were fishing in the creek near our home using lures. We weren't having any luck and then thought it was great fun having about 6' of line out and we started slapping the lures on the water in front of us and pulling it back over our heads and then pulling it back over our heads to the front and repeat. Did this several times and then on one of the times I pulled it from the back to the front the line sort of looped under itself and that treble hook on the lure buried two of the hooks in the skin on my back. Looke like his finger except my back just to the rught side of my spine. Yep it sure hurt. My buddy had to unhook me as we sure didn't want my parents to find out. It was a not pleasant him pulling the barbs out either. No pictures of this one!

I did that exact same thing in the Michigan State University arena during a Team Penning competition .
It DQ'ed me so I went up in the stands to watch the rest of the event . A rider's horse got spooked and started bucking , but she got it under control .
I said to the person sitting next to me -"That was entertaining!"
She smiled and said "That's nothing , you should've seen the guy that crossed his horse up and went over the front , it was hilarious " .

lol! I can’t even begin to remember how many times I’ve been dumped by a horse. Some pretty close calls for sure. At least he had a “soft” landing.

Never had a hook in me unless I can count a meat boning hook. As big as those suckers are they really hurt sunk into a hand, forearm, or under a finger nail.

I can't find the photo of the 5 trucks we got stuck in the desert [after a monsoon] that started with....."Hey Kerry, go pull Joe out"..... Then Randy...... Then Bruce........ Then Jesse.......

Lots of walking that day....

Horse was on the wrong lead , is my guess . Could've broke the horses leg , he got lucky .

As a 'not a horse guy in a million years' I have my daughter (who did hunter/jumper in VA) to thank for knowing what that actually means. cool, I feel a little smarter than yesterday.... ;-)

Well, since you asked... I'm OK, tractor is OK, feelings a little hurt though. Y'all be careful out there. I got a little too close to a ditch and over she went.

Ain't going to lie , I sucked at knowing if my horse changed leads in time to turn . Thats why barrel racing is so fun , the horse has to change leads three times at top speed . I grew up watching The Duke just say giddy up , I thought it was just that simple , lol
