If you don’t like MKC paracord handles

Those look good! How much weight does the wood handles add?

Thank you! Not much at all, maybe and ounce. I can weigh some that I have when I get home if you’d like and post some weights later. I have my personal Speedgoat, Stoned Goat, and Stubhorn. Let me know which one you want to know about

That’s closes enough I was just curious, always thought after dressing an animal the parachute would get blood and juices in it and would never clean out.

Just finished a Rockler for myself and I know that it’s not an MKC but here is also my LS Wild Dixie Zipper I added handles to! Just got some beautiful Ironwood in and had to use it!

Where do you get your desert ironwood from?

Good point. Weight difference before or after the paracord is soaked with blood, fat, dirt, and whatever else...?

Nice handles @paxamus , I've always found paracord handles impractical for the above reason. Much better with a pair of decent wood scales.

I agree about the paracord being impractical. It’s a great business decision- cheap and easy but I’ve never liked them. I can’t tell you how many times I contacted them for some kind of handle before I made my first

You all should check out Behring Made Knives located here in Missoula Montana. They make some really nice knives also and have colaborated on a few knives with Ruana Knives located just a few miles away from them. I hope they continue as what they produced looked fantastic. The knives shown are not the collaboration but just to show what some of their knives look like.
