If you could choose any CO Muley season, which one and why?

I've hunted two different seasons (second and third) in entirely different units and finally had some luck last year (second season). Out of curiosity, not taking into consideration a specific unit, if you could hunt ANY legal season which one would it be and why?

For me, it'd be early season rifle because I really enjoy hunting the high country and am just truly fascinated by mule deer.

Seems like a catch 22. I'd prefer later (3rd or 4th) due to the rut. However, they have been chased and pressured from the first two seasons. I'd always choose the rut tho.
