If it’s brown it’s down...

I don’t see how this happens. Even if you are a brand new hunter surely you’ve seen enough pictures of moose and elk to know the difference. Even species that are pretty close to looking the same seem easy to me to tell apart. I think about the first time I saw a mule deer, I think I knew immediately that it didn’t look like any whitetail I’ve ever seen.
But at least it sounds like several self reported.

Same thing happened in Kentucky. Dude shot an elk took it the local gas station/check station bragging he just shot the biggest deer ever..."it had to be a new world record"... some people just amaze me!

Never tried llama. But I've had alpaca. It's pretty good. Reminded me of farm raised bison.
