Idaho Unit Mule Deer Tag

I got unbelievably lucky this year and drew a Unit Idaho Mule Deer Tag. Since I am now going on 69 years of age it came at a good time considering I am aging out of Big Game hunting. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with information about the road trail system Do the roads/ trails get impassable if they are wet, or snow covered. Can a Ford Super Duty 4x4 negotiate most of the roads and trails or are they mostly for ATV / Side by Sides. Any information would be greatly appreciated……….

I don’t have much experience down there, but the mud is notoriously nasty.

so I have spent a ton of time chasing elk and deer out there! The main roads are decent but any spur road will get very slick and slick is a understatement! I would suggest having chains in the truck or take a utv! Hit me up when it gets closer I am sure I will be out in the that country for elk this year
