I used to guide up Big Creek as well. FLY IN. If you aren't in shape, you will not be successful in there. Quality is not great, all my time in there, the biggest buck I saw was 170". There are some areas that were just to hard to access to take clients into that I would love to hunt, but I wouldn't be going in there with great expectations.

how is the elk hunting in there?
The wolf hunting would be spectacular if it’s anything like it was when I was in there. Saw wolfs daily and had a pack of 8+ 100 yards from camp in the middle of the night. We were howling back and forth watching them pace back and forth howling with our mag lights.
