Idaho Spring Bear

I recently relocated to Northern Utah for work and was picked up a spring bear tag for Idaho this year. Looking at hunting southern Idaho this spring and wanting any tips/helpful ideas for anything spring bear. I have never hunted bear before so any and all tips would be appreciated. Not looking for anyones honey holes or locations.
