… something aligned for me this year and I drew sheep! . Not a lot of previous tag holders to learn from. Has anyone hunted in there and seen sheep? DM me if you have any leads. I will scout most of summer and hunt every week of season. In good shape and have the gear/experience to get in the backcountry and stay for extended days. Well, I have sheep hunted that unit. I had the tag a year before they split it off of 27-4. There was a fire that year so I hunted it the following year. I still got to hunt the old boundary. Send me a private message. Mark

I drew it in 2022, helped a buddy in '23, and his buddy in '24. Best DIY sheep unit there is imho. Best of luck and enjoy the experience!

Had some luck on my side this year. Sheep tag for me. Not a top unit, but no matter. Going to have some fun. Fly or float in for access.
