Idaho non resident OTC tags...

How fast do they go? We are deciding next week what zone we are choosing, ( both zones we are interested in dont have a quota), and I just had the thought...once sawtooth sells out on the morning of the 10th, does everyone then flock to the otc tags once they didnt get a sawtooth? Our next meeting isn't until that weekend, or the following. I just wanted to make sure we shouldn't buy them before may 10th when sawtooth sells.

The non-quota tags for both elk and deer usually don't sell out till closer to start of season or during the season. I think they both sold out after archery season had actually opened last year. As long as things stay the same as past years, you will just need to make sure you buy your tags before summers over.

Depends on zone. We hunt 76/66A and elk tags sell out in less than 48 hrs. Deer are available into the archery season with 2nd tags always available.

Sounds good. The zones we are looking at fall under " all other zones", so no quota

4 years ago you could buy a 76/66A tag in August. Won't be long before it'll either be a controlled hunt or go on sale like the Sawtooth tags.
