Idaho GMU 15 Muley

I got an fall 23 Muley tag for Idaho gmu 15. Never been on a western hunt so just wanted to see if there’s been any luck recently in this unit or some tips for locations or features to look for when scouting online?

You bought a nonres Idaho tag without doing any research? I wonder how many people are doing this and what its effect is on the Dec 1 sale fiasco.

FYI, there is no such thing as a "muley tag" in Idaho, only WT and general, and that unit has both WT & mules.

I think Unit 15 is more of a whitetail unit than a mule deer unit.

98.9 percent wt harvest in 2021 and you have to think that the majority of those were in the wt season.

Very difficult unit for a muley! Good luck getting anyone to give info on where to find them. Whitetails throughout the unit muley's in small pockets. Boots on the ground and about 5 years of hunting the gmu and you might see a couple of them.
