Idaho fall controlled hunt 2026

I drew one of the limited tags over by the council area. Does anybody have hound outfitter recommendations? Or know a hound guy that would want to hunt that area in September? Send me a dm. I met a guy on here in 2019 that took me with his hounds and had a blast. We even put a bear in the freezer.

That is an interesting development. I reached out to the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Association. I’ll report back what I learn.

Heaven's Gate guides in there for deer, maybe they have access to hounds? It would be worth a phone call.

I messaged Heavens Gate. A website called huntingidaho.org has a pretty cool tool that lets you see a list of guides for a unit/species/method combo. Heavens Gate is apparently the only game in town with hounds in that area.
