Unsuccessful for me. Guess I will try 2nd draw but doubt many people dot buy their tag after spending $185 on a l8c3nse to apply.
I’m thinking my father in law did this same thing. He swears he selected everything, but can’t find any info on the draw yet.So I went to check the results this afternoon and couldn’t find my results. I applied as a group and I know I saw the application successfully submitted screen after selecting our 3 choices. I called and they said there was no application submitted for my account. I’m sick that I missed out on the draw, spent the money on the license and feel like an idiot…but I just heard of one other guy that had the exact same thing happen.
Anyone else experience this?
I think some people realize they don't want to shell out the $$$. Not sure how the mandatory license purchase will affect thisPretty wild seeing some of the 2nd draw tags that go unclaimed. People maybe just don’t know what they had….
It's unbelievable to us, but surprisingly there are a lot of hunters that just don't care. A guy that I work with drew a premier bull tag last fall. He ended up picking it up, but never once set foot in the unit. Good for the elk in that unit I guess, but mind numbing to most of us.Historically, the 2nd draw tags were from the controlled deer-elk-antelope period. Many of those were not picked up because the successful applicants forgot to buy the tag before the deadline. Some of the best tags in the state are regularly on the list. It's unbelievable.
