Idaho Bennett Mountain buck

Well, not giving away any secret spots as this is a coveted area and mostly private.
A friend of mine shared these photos last night of this buck which was taken off of Bennett Mountain.
He said it scored 265 and some change. Dandy.

I think I would’ve had to pass on that little guy, I’m sure that his bigger brother was somewhere in the near vicinity.

Easily my favorite place in Idaho to wander around the sage hills and rocks, in search of muley sheds. Man, I miss those days of being able to get out every afternoon for a 3-4 hour hike and see those bucks. Great deer for sure! Congrats to the hunter.

What a buck! Spent some time there this fall on the elk tag, and saw a few bucks but nothing like that!
