Same boat as Wrench, last Sept hunted central Idaho from 12-29. Bulls bugled very little. And when I did find a bull. I was able to get within a heard. Cows all around and a mature bull bugeling. He would not come, every a half hearted challenge. This happened twice last year.
Only think I can think is the full moon. Year prior we killed 8 bulls, they were very very vocal the last 10 days of the month.
We plan on tye 12th-30th again this year.
