Hey everyone! I have a question, I live in idaho and I recently drew a controlled hunt for unit 36a, it's a trophy mule deer hunt new for 2013, there are only 5 permits. the hunt runs from oct10 till nov 30 I was just wondering if anyone mows the area? Or public land to go on? I'm not really familiar with it, also does any one else have this tag?

Congrats on drawing that tag, I also put in but wasn't one of the 5 drawn.

I have hunted this for elk in the past, when they had cow tags available. I hunted for cow elk in Nov, the week before Thanksgiving. Saw a lot of deer, not very many elk. I could point out some areas I would try, depending on when you want to go. I would hunt the rut obviously and hope for weather. PM me if your interested.
