Idaho 2nd non Resident draw

My guess is some people that applied as a party are no longer buddies, because if one person failed to purchase the tag, all party members would have their tags returned. Wondering if anyone can confirm this as this is what game and fish said when I called.

And apparently according to what I’m seeing on another forum, if you draw in the 1st draw and don’t claim your tag you are ineligible for the 2nd draw.

No I made it crystal clear when I called, since the question was not answered anywhere in the new regs, the lady had to go check with someone before answering. I’m hoping someone could verify it because I had my doubts they were actually capable of implementing it. I would also trust some random WKR more so than the lady picking up the phone at ID/MT game and fish 60% of the time all the time.

No I know the rules, but if in just a few experiences in the regional offices, I’ve had these advice is given to other people and myself imagine the bad advice they are giving out regularly

Unclaimed tags should just be awarded to the next people who were in line originally.

Sure there is, every application is given a random number, wouldn’t be that hard to continue down the list

Email goes out, you have 5 days to claim. Then onto the next.

This does not sound very complex to me

Yep, what % of tags were not claimed? Maybe 10% or less in each area?

Every western state I'm aware of goes up from zero except oregon.
