For whitetail hunting about 15 years ago I bought a heater bodysuit and after one day of use I proclaimed I would pay full price of that thing just to use it for a day. Thing was a lifesaver when sitting all day in super cold temps.

Neck gator. I have a $10 fleece neck gator that has been used for 15 years. I would have paid $100 for it a few times when it kept me warm when hats and coats and stuff couldn’t do the job.

My Cabela's Microtex Lite shirts and pants. I picked them up on clearance for $20 each piece back in 2008 or 2009. I only bought two sets. Little did I know that they were discontinuing them, and that I would like them so much for warm weather hunting. I have the regular Microtex as well, but it's about twice as thick. It's also the last set of camo that I've found that came unhemmed with a 37" inseam......which I need all of. At this point I'd pay 5 times what I paid for the same stuff.

For me its an old Sitka vest. In the old Mothwing pattern. Not that it keeps me warm or cool. Its like an old friend you just like to be around, makes you feel good inside.

This is a really good way to look at this topic OP.

The only thing that comes to mind for me is the True Timber Puffy Pants, but honestly, those are still pretty new to me and would be considered in the testing phase.

Kincos leather mittens, $25 and the only gloves to keep me warm near zero. Would and have paid $80-100 for gloves in the past. They don't hold a candle to the warmth of my kincos.

Sitka Delta Wading Jacket.... I've been in some NASTY rain & wind driven sleet in an open boat and been dry. It's every bit as advertised.

Darn Tough Socks... They last, are comfortable & Made in the USA.

First Lite Zip Off long johns... Genius... to be able to add those after a long walk in or to be able to dump heat as the day goes on without having to strip all the way down has been really handy.

I have the Kryptek Vellus jacket and pants. They get a lot of use from me for whitetail hunting, late season cow tags and rabbit hunting. It’s my favorite stuff from Kryptek.
