I wanna buy the Credo HX 2.5-15 but..

I have the Credo. Not a huge fan of the thin reticle, given my older eyes, but I have gotten acclimated. The thing I love about it is its dependability. Broke out my rifle after a year and a half siesta to check the zero. It took me 3 shots to realize that it was still spot on - like a laser beam. No adjustment necessary. That counts for a lot with me.
The first couple of times that happens you realize how much time, money, and worry you wasted over the years on crap that didn't hold zero.

I thought I was a terrible shot , couldn't group shit with my Nikons . Blamed the rifles . Then I read Forms posts , actually argued with him a little , then bought a real scope . Whelp , turned out I shoot pretty good , who knew .

Same here. Until I got the Credo, I felt like a total dumbass, spending long range sessions chasing my zero. Now, it's pretty easy.

How long have you had it? They get much crisper with a little use. Both my Tenmiles and my one Credo were like that. I think they pack the crap out of them with grease.
Just a year and limited adjustments and use in that time. Spent the year attached to a rifle awaiting a Rokstok 😂

The whole resetting zero every year was something I thought was just part of the deal for 20 plus years. Ironically, I have a cheap weaver that came on a 22 I won in a raffle. I’ve dropped that gun a half dozen times. For whatever reason that thing gets knocked, tipped over, etc.. just unlucky and cost me nothing. Every time after I shoot it and expect it to wander or be all over the place. I swear that thing just gets more accurate with the abuse.

The Maven RS1.2 and SWFA reticles are better.

Personally, I only buy FFP and mil scopes. So, reticle, FFP, and mil are the selling points that make me take the RS1.2 or an SWFA over the Credo. Given you don't want FFP nor mil, sounds the the Credo is what you should get.

If anyone out there is between a Huron 3-12 and a Credo 2.5-15, you’ll probably want to go with the Credo if you can afford it, particularly if you shoot a caliber with some recoil.

I have a Credo on my primary rifle which I love, and threw a Huron 3-12 on my back up .270 win. While the huron is solid, the eye relief leaves much to be desired at full magnification. My buddy and I both got nice scope bite, I’ll be returning the Huron for a second Credo.
