I know it's probably a junk scope. Anyone tried one on a hunting rig. I like the rectical at 1moa, glass is okay parallax adjust seems good. It's on a 243. Should I just move it off to my 10-22 or is it tough enough to try it?

I have a 3-12 engage that I got for a song when they were closing out. I got a 2.5-10 trophy extreme at the same time. Not sure if yours is the same, but my engage is made in China, pretty certain the trophy extreme is made in Japan. The Japanese made scope is noticeably nicer in all respects, and I’ve flown with it a couple of times and it has actually held zero quite well for the six or seven years I’ve owned it. I mentioned that other scope only because it being a 2.5-10 as well I thought it was possible they shared some parts, if yours is made in Japan it may be more like that one? I used the engage a bunch of years ago on an antelope hunt where I flew out and back, it also held zero and it dialed plenty accurate out to 400 yards or so, I didn’t really try it that much past more moderate range though. Used it for nrl22 for a winter. I haven’t really used it a ton other than that, so I certainly wouldn’t bet a $$$ trip on it, but I’ve owned worse scopes that cost a heck of a lot more. I’d at least give it a shot.
