I swallowed the entire Rokslide pill…

Well I started ordering the end of January and everything finally came together this week.
I won’t call this custom

6.5 prc from Europe optic, sent it off to kampfelds to have it chopped to 20” and threaded(really glad I did this).

Tbac ultra 7, Lumley bottom metal, unknown rings with a maven 1.2, and 10 minutes ago the LS wild cover just showed for the suppressor

Threw it together this afternoon after work and loaded up 10 rounds just to go shoot.

Adg brass, 210’s and 55 grains v565. 2 rounds touching at 40 then went back to 100 and stacked 8 rounds just over an inch. I just wanted to get out and shoot the combo. Just loaded to factory mag length which I already have a long action bolt stop and a longer magazine.

Pretty excited just to have everyone in hand, had to sell off a bunch of things to put this together

Nice gun. I'm working in the same direction.
I went from a big 30 super magnum to a 6mm. Pretty happy so figured I'd start trying to go with the 22 cal next.

I have long said it is the ugliest rifle (Tikka), with the ugliest scope (SWFA), in the ugliest stock (Rokstok).

None of them look as ugly to me any more. I have become rathe found of my homely rifles and even starting to like how they look. Might be a sign of dementia.

This is me a well. Wanted to hate them cuz I thought they were ugly and chinky. I finally picked a creedmoor “for the kids” now have the prc. They both hammer and feed great. Shout everything through at them. Not so ugly now. They have grown on me.

I now have 4 Tikka’s. I agree with the statements above regarding the looks. The physical appearance is not appealing. I felt that Dieter from Sprockets designed the rifle. Once I bought one I truly enjoyed the action of the bolt. Just easier to operate than my REM 700 style.

I’ll buy one more unless someone can provide a load for a 6.5CM 147’s in a 16” barrel producing 2800 fps. If not then I’ll have to pick up a PRC.

If you are gonna sell a bunch of stuff to finance one good gun, that’s a pretty ideal setup.

Buy good brass run it at 80-90kpsi and tell everyone you must have gotten a fast barrel

I initially thought the Rokstok was ugly but its looks are growing on me. It sounds like you have a shooter. What does it weigh, set up with the scope and suppressor?

I have two tikkas, and I’ve become a fan. I’ve never thought tikkas were ugly. I keep looking at pics of the rokstock and trying to like it… haven’t got there yet. Does it have a great personality?

In all seriousness I’m curious about this. Has anyone swapped out their factory tikka stock for a rokstock and that being the only component swapped, had a major difference in their shooting accuracy, ease of target acquisition/reacquisition, or other?
