i-phone vs. Samsung

always been an iphone guy, but the samsungs new built in stove feature would be nice to have backpacking.
Yep, hand warmer, fire starter and if you tie it to an arrow it becomes an emergency flare.

I carry both, my work phone is an iPhone 6s and my personal is a Samsung Galaxy S5. It all comes down to personal preference. I don't like Apple iOS but the phone itself has been great so far. My wife has had a iPhone 6 for two years with zero issues. My son had a iPhone 5s that was kind of a dud. I don't carry the iPhone when I don't need to though, again personal preference.
My Samsung has been a great phone too, always dependable, runs apps well, etc. I do tend to try software, like different launchers, etc because I can, not because of issues. I have not managed to break or brick it. After two years the battery is still good and I used it all this last week on a solo backpack whitetail hunt as my entertainment, GPS, camera and one more thing... a phone! :D I did of course charge it each night with a battery brick.
