Whats your thoughts on the ruby's and jarbidge ranges For an early season back country archery hunt?

You are wasting your points if you decide a Rubies. Last two years there have been a couple hundred tags left over each season.

Country is great in both zones, both are over hunted and trophy quality is mediocre at best.

I would lean more towards Jarbidge if it is only between that and the Rubies...however, there is some sleeper units in the center of the state for those willing to do a little homework, and 3pts would generally be plenty.

Don't waste three points on the Ruby's. You can draw that 0 pts. It is my favorite hunt in the state, but would not choose it if I had points built up

There are some quality units that can be drawn with 3 points...
