i drew idaho unit 9!!!

well the stars aligned and i drew oct 1-14 bull tag for unit 9 in idaho!! i am so excited i am worthless at work!! will be making my first scouting trip in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone was familiar with the unit and where i might want to start my search. i should be able to get at least 3 good scout trips in before the hunt and be able to take the whole two weeks off. from others experience if i find moose in the early summer like this will they still be in similar area in oct? any info is very appreciated!!!! thanks

I don't have any particular experience in this unit, but ill add where I see them in September in other areas of the state while elk hunting.
they have always been in the 4-8k elevation and along the water. that's kind of a given after all they are moose. id assume if its snowed they will even be lower if that's possible given the geography of the location. I should start applying because I see a few every year that are shooters and im not even looking for them.
