I am now 60, since November, not over yet!!

ElkNut hit that one! Age brings challenges but that's what your brain is for!

One of my hunting buds is 72. He has give up hunts with long hikes and traveling around the world hunting but he is still hunting deer in Alabama and enjoying the heck out it. I’m 60 and slowing down.
Most of my hunting buds are either my age or older. None giving it up just doing what they can do.
Enjoy the outdoors in anyway you can.

Turned the corner on 70 last year but still heading into the backcountry for the month of September to chase ol' wily wapiti with my bow. Still as excited and looking forward to it as I was over 30 years ago. Staying active and flexible will keep you in good shape headed into the 'golden years'. Also just enjoying the elk woods and soaking it all in helps to keep things in healthy perspective, and continuing to keep an open mind and keep learning helps as well.

My dad hunted into his 80s we made some smart decisions on the style of hunts (whitetails) but it was worth every minute, He lived to hunt them. His last hunt was 6 years ago in November that December he passed So, I guess the story here is never give up. I will be 67 soon and looking forward to Wyoming antelope and mule deer hunt in October, then an eastern shore early muzzleloader sika deer hunt, then whitetails in November, I worked long and hard to get to this point in my life and won't let a little bit of age stop me.

I'm 67 and still look forward to moose hunting every year. I hunt solo and just slow down and take it easy. I don't see myself giving it up for a long time, just have to be careful and enjoy the hunt and time in the woods. I spend most of the month of September out and about.

We celebrated my friend’s 84th birthday in Anchorage last month after we each got our brown bears. While there he found out he and his wife drew mule deer tags in Colorado for late October.
