Anyone have any feed back on these suppressors for a multical set up?

I do not own one, but have shot with a guy who does.

Like any “multi-cal” suppressor, it does OK, but isn’t going to be great with anything but .45 ACP subs.

I know everyone can’t do it, but I much prefer dedicated suppressors.

I have an Omega 36M, Hybrid 46 (not modular version), and a Griffin Bushwhacker 46 (serviceable) and might be able to help out a bit.

Might be a good option to get a 45 cal pistol can and then something more universal (Omega 36M, AB Raptor 338, etc). Anecdotally, I find a notable difference between say a .223 or .308 on a 45 cal can and a for-caliber can, but far less so on my Omega 36M, which provides pretty satisfying all around performance.

That said, 45 caliber cans do ok on smaller calibers and are WAAAAYYYY better than nothing or a brake. If you're going to do just one can and stick to only one, you'll likely be happy with the 46M (keep in mind, no lead 45 ACP through the welded suppressor). However, if you are going to buy another later on, and have no intent on shooting something like a 45-70, 450 Bushmaster, etc., you'll be better off with a smaller caliber universal or rifle suppressor.

I bought the 46M for a first-time do-it all suppressor. I don't have a ton of experience with other suppressors so take my opinion as merely that, my opinion. I really like it, it has suppressed .45 acp, 9mm, 30-06, 30-30, 6.5 Creedmoor, .243 Winchester, and .22LR with success. It's nice that you can just switch out the direct thread adapter if you need say 1/2" instead of 5/8". For getting into the suppressor world it's great.....and has me now looking at buying dedicated suppressors for individual rifles so I don't have to switch them back and forth. 10/10 would recommend if you aren't sure what you will need it for and/or have several things that need suppressed.
