They hit a cross pin on the back, bottom of the blade.

What model handle? I would send it back if it is designed to use 60A blades. If it a an original piranta or anything prior to the bolt it wasn't designed to use 60A blades with the orange ABS handle.

I'm wondering the same thing. If it's an original Piranta it may not fit the 60a. I gave my original to a friend and got a Piranta Bolt so that it could accept the 60A blades.

I'm pretty sure the 60xt blades fit that particular handle.

Mine like that, one of the originals, doesn't fit the 60 blades. I just keep them in the back of the knife sheath in their tinfoil packs when not in use. I store several blades in the picket in the back of the sheath.
