What would be the better option. Hunting the high country of Wyoming going on a 6.5 prc

Of those two, the NX8 without question. I’ve got both brands and Nightforce is better optically and mechanically. I would add that my go to scope is an NXS 2.5-10x42 for weight reasons as I mainly mountain hunt. Don’t discount this scope if weight is important as 10x will get you as far as you should be shooting on game.

If you can go a little bit more, I would look at the 4-16x42 ATACR. I own the 4-32 and 2.5-20 NX8s and a couple of NXSs. they are all awesome, I love them. The scope on my lightweight back country rifle is the 4-16x42 ATACR. Its the best hunting scope on the market in my opinion.
