Bummer. Count your blessings every day. Reading that story, I've been in sketchy situations like that. Prayers for his family. Sucks when guys are taken too soon.
I have lost a lot of family and close friends and had my fair share of situations that left me wondering how I am still alive. It really changes you and makes you notice the little things more often. Enjoy life and do what you love, it really does change just that quick.
Sorry to hear about this and my prayers and wishes go out to his family and friends.
Super Bummed to hear this. Mike and I have had many phone conversations. He will definitely be missed. We shared the same passion with our Backpack obsessions and modifications. What a shame.
That sucks. Although I had never met Mike, we were practically neighbors. We traded messages and intel several times after drawing the same tags. Just a reminder to be careful out there. Hard to say if it would have made a difference, but I usually don't wear my seatbelt when I'm in the woods either. Going to have to change that.
Very sad news, reading his posts he seemed very honest, friendly, helpful, down to earth. Got the impression that he would be even more so in person as evident with all the responses on here and other forums. Thoughts and prayers for his friends and family.
He was very active here and other forums, always had good things to add to conversations. I Always got the sense he was a stand up guy, he'll be missed. My condolences to his friends and family.
